World Missions Ministries has lost a dear member of our missionary family, Dr. Rev. Kundael Mrema, missionary to Tanzania and Regional Director to Central Africa. Dr. Mrema went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 8, 2018.
Dr. Mrema served as an IPHC Career Missionary to Tanzania since May 2001. He was appointed the Regional Director over Central Africa in 2006, which covered the countries of Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Zambia, and the southern Democratic Republic of Congo. Throughout his ministry, Dr. Mrema served these nations with excellence, and we honor his leadership and mission to advance the Kingdom of God. He was highly respected among his peers and greatly loved by all who served with him. Our hearts are deeply moved by this loss, and his presence will be missed.
Dr. Mrema was born and raised in Tanzania. He accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1977. In 1986, he took part in the Discipleship Training School with YWAM at Mombasa, Kenya. In 1992, God opened a door for him to come to the United States to pursue a degree in Biblical Studies. He earned a BA in Pastoral Theology, a Masters of Theology, Masters of Divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry to which he gave God all the glory. He was licensed with the IPHC in 1996 and was ordained in 1998 through the South Carolina Conference.
Please pray for Sister Yasinta Mrema, as well as their children who are currently making arrangements to travel to Tanzania. May God the Father overshadow this family and provide for all of their needs as the Holy Spirit ministers comfort and peace in their midst.
