Thank the Lord for every one of you that have prayed for, financially supported, and encouraged this ministry. Judith and I pray often for you and want to tell you how much we care and love you, and are believing for the best over your lives, even during these trying times.
After nearly three years in Nepal, we arrived back in the states on March 12th, for our scheduled furlough. We quarantined in Falcon for 16 days and are now living in the mission home in Clinton, N.C.
Nepal
During our time in Nepal, we hosted several teams and ministries. We trained hundreds of pastors as well as hosted many inquiry meetings throughout the nation. We are grateful for our assistant, Ashok Lama, the Granstaff’s, and the Kumar’s for all of their assistance. Ashok has been invaluable in arranging meetings, translation, and pastoral contacts. Through these inquiry meetings, we went from a few churches to now approximately 450 churches, representing 25,000 church members. God has been good and faithful to us! The Holy Spirit is leading us with strategies to continue to grow, even while we are away.
Now with COVID-19, day workers have little or no food for their families. We are working to help them, as best we can, under the Nepal guidelines and restrictions. Many staples have been given to our pastors so they can distribute to those in need. We are working along with the Granstaff’s and Ashok to identify and help more families that have lost their income. We are praying for you to overcome the challenges in your own lives with the loving kindness and help of the Lord. Isaiah 41:17 – 20 shows the Lord’s concern even for the poor and needy. Pray these scriptures and give to help the need, even in your need.
