Thankfulness is always the key to transforming our thinking, our actions, and our accomplishments for the Kingdom of God. In that vein, we want to say "thank you" to so many of you who have given, prayed for, and encouraged us along this mission path. We know without our partners in this Kingdom endeavor, we could not have seen these blessings.
We have grown to over 600 churches, representing over 30,000 members in IPHC Nepal. We are now a legal church, thanks to the great efforts of Ashok Lama, our new chairman of the IPHC Nepal Board of Directors. He has a five-member National Board and over seventy leaders appointed throughout Nepal provinces. Covid relief funds have been distributed throughout the nation, and water wells have been installed in several places. Under the leadership of Chase Granstaff, at least three Schools of Ministry have been actively established.
In 10 months, the National Headquarters Project, under the name of The Jackie Hess Memorial Fund IPHC Nepal Headquarters, has already reached a great milestone. We had an original goal of $390,000 (land is expensive in Nepal), and we have raised $370,000 so far. We are believing for the provision of $500,000 for this total project to be complete with furnishings, Coffee House Ministry, housing, and parking. Thank God, thank our partners, and thank World Missions Ministries and Bishop Talmadge Gardner, who have worked on this project with us. We are believing for the “more abundant” blessings, knowing this is Nepal’s time in God’s great plans.
We will be traveling (by God’s grace) to Nepal at the beginning of February for many weeks of concentrated ministry all over the nation of Nepal. We are licensing ministers, welcoming new ministries and leaders, and encouraging the ministers of IPHC, envisioning a future of greater growth and reaching others with the gospel of Christ Jesus. We will be installing Ashok Lama as the new Assistant National Director, continuing with his great assistance in directing the nation to greater participation and growth in God’s Kingdom.
We are grateful for Ashok Lama in Nepal and Tony Misquitta in India for their leadership. The Western Conference in India, under Tony, has grown during the lockdown, just as Nepal has. We now have 55 churches registered with IPHC Western Conference.
Prayer: a perfect location for the new headquarters building and growth continuing even during greater lockdown restrictions for Covid again.
