Merry Christmas friends and family!
It seems unreal that this year is already coming to an end. These past 12 months have held so much, but it is hardly believable that it’s almost time to ring in a new year. I want to start by thanking all of you for your faithfulness to walk with me through this journey in missions with the Lord. Your commitment to seeing this aspect of the great commission fulfilled is truly something extraordinary to be a part of! Each one of you are a part of every testimony, every step forward, and every life impacted by the love of Jesus here. I cannot thank you enough. I don’t have time to go through all of it but please allow me a few minutes to share some updates from the past few months.
We have seen so much growth in the ministries here. The Link Coffee House has grown and is starting to become a staple place in people’s routines. We host events for businesses as well as private parties, and we are connecting every day with more and more people from our community. But more than any of that, we are getting to share our Jesus with people who don’t know Him. Just the other day, a businessman who works across the road, whom we have been building relationship with and praying for over several months now, sat with me and began asking me questions about the Lord. We sat for close to an hour and talked about what I believe, what it means to pray and talk to God, and what the Bible says about how we should live our lives. We had church together that day. It wasn’t a traditional service, but we talked about the Lord, and He was glorified in our meeting and sharing. This is just one example of how this place is reaching this community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have some big dreams for this place for the coming year, and I ask that you continue to pray with me concerning the growth of this business and ministry!
In the past couple of months, I have had the opportunity to launch a small group for young women at my house, and I am so thrilled to be a part of this group! I love this group of young ladies, and it is an honor to get to walk with them as we study the Word and grow in the Lord together. I am looking forward to how the Lord is going to use this group and each of these amazing ladies in the coming year!
I was reminded the other day in my time with the Lord that I have prayed for many years to have the opportunity to serve in a local church again. As a church, we are constantly doing what we can to not only grow our congregation but to reach those in our community who do not yet know the Lord. There are always challenges, as many of you know, but I do love how the Lord uses this church to reach and serve the people of Bridgend. I thank the Lord that He has opened the door for me to be a part of our worship ministry team and our youth ministry team here. I look forward to seeing how the Lord continues to bless this church as we work to show Him clearly to those around us.
As I close this newsletter, I pray that this has been a blessing and an encouragement to you as you’ve read it. You are all an immeasurable blessing to me as I serve here. I regularly find myself completely baffled that you are partnering with me and helping to make all this possible. I pray that in this season, and looking into the new year, the Lord blesses you so fully and you are made so aware of His presence in your lives. Thank you again and again!
I pray you have a very Merry Christmas!
