Because of You...
We are so thankful for each and every one of our generous supporters, because of you, we have been able to meet the various needs of people and churches around the world. 2020 has been a difficult year for many, and we are so grateful for your continued, and sacrificial support in time of crises. Many of our churches have been touched by natural disasters and or the Covid crisis, but you all have remained faithful. This newsletter contains some of our most recent requests and updates, as well as direct links (the buttons below) to our give site and projects.
Your regular monthly child sponsorship is greatly valued during this time. With your support, People to People continues to provide food, clothing, and medical needs to vulnerable and needy children around the world. Needs are being met, people are being served, and the gospel is continuing to go forth.
Tanzania - Ms. Ashuri, she is the daughter of Pastor Aaron Ngonela, and the mother of three children, from Mbeya, Tanzania. She has been diagnosed with a cardiovascular issue and is in need of an immediate heart surgery, as her hands and feet are severely swollen making it difficult to walk, while also experiencing spinal pains making it difficult to breathe. The nearest hospital to Ashuri is over 500 miles away in Dar Es Salaam and her family cannot afford the fares, medication, or life-saving surgery. Would you consider partnering and praying with us as we help support Ashuri? We are seeking to raise $2,000 for the necessary heart surgery, your contribution will make a tremendous impact in not only Ashuri's life, but her children's and parent's as well.
Bangladesh - Because of your generous donations to the Covid-19 Relief Fund, the Bangladesh IPHC Church was able to distribute 240 relief packets to those in need in their surrounding community as they celebrated an early Christmas together. One local family also contributed clothes, bags, and laminated bible verses to give to each family. We are so thankful for all of our generous donors helping to enable those around the world to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Central America - On November 16, hurricane Iota became the second hurricane to batter Central America. Six IPHC Churches in Nicaragua have suffered extensive damage and many of our church members have been displaced. Roofs destroyed, severe flooding and mud damage has left homes in ruins. Our Bishop Juan Javier Cruz in Honduras sent People to People this note: “These photos are only a small part of what our country is going through as result of Iota. Thank God all of our members survived and pastors only lost materials. Many lost their homes and their crops and many are without food for their children because there is no work. We ask for your help while we get through what this has done. It has affected our economy, we also know that the economy is difficulty everywhere today, but we know that God will attentively abide with us all.” Would you consider making a one-time donation for disaster relief efforts in Central America? Funds raised will primarily assist our Pastors in providing food to the needy, and will also help restore our affected Churches.
