MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
Dear Mission Partner,
Greetings to you in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. I am glad to let you know that I am well both spiritually and physically. The presence of the Lord is with me. Praise the Lord! He is my all in all. It has been another hard year for most of us due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Some have been sick, and some have lost their loved ones. In whatever circumstance we find ourselves in, God still loves us, has good thoughts toward us, and He is in control.
Thank you so very much for your continued prayers and financial support. Together we are bringing souls to the kingdom of God, changing lives one at a time. This month, I had an opportunity to lead two young ladies to the Lord. Their names are Judith and Pendo. Please pray for them that they will grow in the Lord.
I preached in churches more this year. One pastor invited me to preach in their gathering of six churches. Another pastor was in school for six weeks, so he asked me to preach for him several times. There are some new church plants in Maasai villages in Morogoro, where I preached many times. They are all so loving with very different cultures compared to other tribes in Tanzania. For example, men are never at home during the day. They are not at work, but they are somewhere! Secondly, men cannot sit together with women at all. They are always far apart, so the churches are full of ladies and little children. That was quite an experience for me. The men who have given their lives to Jesus go to church, but they are counted as lost and no longer accepted by their families or their peer groups.
We did some building work on two small churches in the Kilosa area. These churches are Peapea and Mji Mwema. The congregations and the pastors are so happy. Thank you for giving to the Lord. Thank you to those who gave toward the motorcycles for the pastors ministering to the Maasai. I cannot repay you, but the Lord knows all of the prayers you have prayed and all you have given. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
My family was blessed with my third grandbaby, a daughter named Zoey Sia Mrema. I thank the Lord, for I am still here enjoying His blessings of grandchildren. What a joy!
PRAYER REQUEST
Please pray for the economy of Tanzania. Due to COVID-19, prices of many things have gone up, especially gas, sugar, and cooking oil. Pray for the rains to come and on time.
