New Ministry Horizons
This is a pinnacle moment in missions. There has never been opportunity to impact the nations like today! My generation will pioneer the places that my predecessors could only dream to go. The gates are open and there are few places the gospel cannot be taken. This opportunity does not come without the cost of danger and sacrifice. I am so blessed to live in this era as a missionary.
School of Missions
At the IPHC annual training for missionaries, God spoke clearly that we are to cast our eyes on new pioneer fields. Our past ministry will not be our future ministry.
Who will Go?
God is raising up missionaries from all four corners of the world to go. North Americans have led the charge of missions for the last 100 years; now many stand beside us. Today the greatest need is to train and equip the international missionary force to be sent.
Korea
The Korean Association of Missionary Care was established in March. In June, I was blessed to serve as a trainer in the first missionary care retreat for Korean missionaries. In Korea, I am training those who take the charge in these ministries.
China
As a young lady serving as a missionary to mainland China, God dropped these words into my heart, “China will be key to world evangelization”. That was a laughable statement 25 years ago – BUT NOT TODAY. I search for every opportunity to train Chinese missionaries that are being sent. In May, I held an intensive training course for Chinese in Malaysia.
God Calling is to a Higher Level
A ministry opportunity has been in my thoughts for 1 1/2 years. I would not move because I needed to know it was God’s leading. In May, clarity was given by a group of Methodist believers who spoke the words of God to me. This ministry will allow training and care for missionaries who will go to a new level around the globe. God is calling others to work alongside me to impact the world, and you will hear more about the details of this project in the future. My greatest days in ministry are ahead of me.
