Directive #5- FEBRUARY 10, 2014
Scripture
Acts 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
I Corinthians 3: 8-9 “Now he that plants and he that waters are one …. For We are laborers together with God.”
Other Scriptures
Ephesians 4: 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists and some pastors and teachers.
I Corinthians 12: 28-30 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostels, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, administration, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
Interpretation
The Lord uses individuals BUT He also has chosen to use teams. This is especially true for the day and challenges in which we live. It is not a day for dictators or super heroes.
