M25 Director, Gary Burd
Gary Burd is driven by his heart to “Be A Light Not A Mouth” (BALNAM) to hurting people that have been overlooked or ignored. That’s why he directs Mission M25. Mission M25 is a ministry that helps equip men, women, and/or organizations who feel the call to minister to the neglected people of the world.
Born to IPHC parents and ministers, Gary became a minister at age 16. He and his wife Carolyn have served Christian Heritage Church in Amarillo, Texas since 1973. Gary served for 28 years as the Senior Pastor at Christian Heritage and is currently the Pastor Emeritus.
Gary will resign as Bishop of the Great Plains Conference in October of 2014, and go into full time mission work here in the USA. Gary and Carolyn’s new assignment as full time missionaries with M25 will allow them to focus on linking the church to the communities that need hope outside the church walls. They will lead M25 groups in several national events while ministering inside churches across the USA. They have already logged over 475,000 miles on their motorcycles while flying their Christian “Colors” to open the doors of service.
Gary and Carolyn have already been officially approved as EVUSA missionaries. They must now raise their own support while continuing the work the Lord has placed before them.
