SCRIPTURE
Colossians 1:17 “And he is before all things and by him all things consist.”
INTERPRETATION
“Let us review our own lives. Surely in these we may discover some happy incidents, refreshing to ourselves and glorifying to our God.” Charles H. Spurgeon
Examining ourselves is important and rewarding but examining “Who He Is,” is more refreshing and rewarding.
OTHER SCRIPTURES
In the scriptures some 117 times, the Bible tells us Who He Is.
For example:
He is God. Deuteronomy 4:35
He is a holy God. Joshua 24:19
He is a great King. Psalm 47:2
He is the Son of Man.John 5:27
He is Lord of Lords. Revelation 17:4
PRAYER POINTS
1) He is the propitiation for our sins. I John 2:2
2) He is our peace. Ephesians 2:14
3) He is my shield. II Samuel 22:3
4) He is our help. Psalm 33:20
5) He is near. Isaiah 55:6
6) He is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
7) He is gracious. Psalm 112:4
And so it goes.
But think of the future.
