Janese Pike Bennett
The IPHC General Superintendent’s Office is pleased to announce that Mrs. Janese Pike Bennett has assumed the position of IPHC Director of Communications. Mrs. Bennett brings to the IPHC experience in technology, social media, graphic design, and teaching English. She and her family have also served as IPHC missionaries in Europe.
The IPHC Communications Department was centered in the IPHC Global Ministries Center in Oklahoma City in the summer of 2013. Rev. Travis Rutland served as the Director and led in the development of the various news and information platforms we are currently using. He also led in the development of the new IPHC web site. Rev. Rutland resigned in December, 2014 to return to the pastorate in Georgia.
Mrs. Bennett is especially qualified to build upon the progress made over the past eighteen months. Her lifelong experience in the IPHC, both internationally and in the USA, gives her special insight into the key news and feature items occurring around the world.
Janese is a graduate of Emmanuel College with a focus in Business and the University of Georgia with a major in Management Information Systems. After serving with her husband as an IPHC missionary she started her own graphic design business, working with small businesses and ministries to communicate their vision through print and digital media. As Communications Director, it is her desire to assist the IPHC and its ministries in effectively communicating their vision to be a Place of Hope and a People of Promise. Janese and her husband, Matt, have two children, Austin (17) and Brooklyn (15).
Continuing with her on the IPHC Communications team are Rev. Lee Grady, editor of the IPHC Encourage magazine, Mr. Garrett Magbee, Website Manager, and Mr. Steffan Light, Video Productions Manager. Lee Grady states, “I am so looking forward to working closely with Janese Bennett in her new role as Communications Director. Her knowledge of the IPHC and her heart for missions will make her a remarkable asset to our team.”
