Faith for All Generations

And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!  - Luke 1:41-42

The story of Mary and Elizabeth is a powerful story about generations affirming one another. It is about those who are older saying to those who are younger, “God is saying something to me,” and a younger generation having faith to believe that His word will be fulfilled.

This Christmas let us seek the Lord’s face to believe that with God, nothing is impossible. “Look at every generation to see what God wants your generation to be doing to fulfill the word of the Lord and God’s redeeming grace in Jesus Christ.”
