A memorial service honoring the life and ministry of Dr. Vinson Synan will take place on Saturday, May 30, at 1:00 p.m. in Christ’s Chapel, on the campus of Oral Roberts University. The service is open to the public. Oral Roberts University is located at 7777 S. Lewis Avenue, Tulsa, OK, 74171.
Speakers will include Dr. Doug Beacham, General Superintendent of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, Dr. William Wilson, President of Oral Roberts University, and other church and educational leaders. Music will be provided by members of Dr. Synan’s family and by IPHC pianist, Laban West. The event will also be live-streamed by ORU.
Dr. Synan left this earth and entered the presence of the Lord on March 15. A second memorial service is tentatively scheduled on the campus of Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, on Saturday, June 20. Dr. Synan will be buried in Chester, VA, next to his parents, Bishop J.A. and MInnis Synan.
