Revolution in China, a certain degree of religious freedom is allowed in
China now. The situation, however, appears different in North Korea, which
boasts of “brotherly friendship” with Communist China.

eradicated there. However, less than half a century of religious oppression
is too brief a period in history, and the political dynamics with Communist
China might change the religious situation. If we view religion in a
broader perspective and not only in the light of its definition based on

contributing to the history of religion in its own way.
