According to local authorities, the fires in and around Lake Isabella are 60% contained. It is projected that the fires will be fully contained by Tuesday, July 5. There is a tremendous amount of damage to individual homes as well as entire communities. Woods is leading a team into the devastated areas today to deliver as many hygiene kits as possible to displaced individuals and families. There are a number of campgrounds throughout the area where people are in temporary housing. This will be a large area of focus. If you would like to contribute to help provide families with these kits, you may reach Pastor Billy at (661) 472-2039. In addition to providing hygiene kits, on Tuesday, Woods will lead several teams into parts of the devastated areas to help individuals and families begin the clean up process.
