Each year IPHC Women’s Ministries leaders gather in Franklin Springs, Georgia at Emmanuel College for the Vision4Education event. On Friday, October 5, 2018, Ethan Weaver, Lydia Adams, and Emmalee Bell performed the opening song “Glorious Day” and Michaela Dove gave the welcome and invocation. President Ron White then delivered opening remarks, reporting on a great financial reduction of debt, and praising God for His hand on the college.
Emmanuel’s V4E also included music from the Emmanuel Singers under the direction of Tres Ward, and featured soloists, Jared and Hallie Richardson, and Rachel Ward. The Holy Spirit moved through the packed auditorium as the audience joined in singing “Waymaker” in praise and worship. It was inspiring to hear testimonies from Sam Wooten, Emmalee Bell, and Jared Richardson regarding the personal impact of Emmanuel College on their lives.
IPHC Conference Women’s Ministries Directors presented the college with a gift of $43,000 along with the offerings given by those in attendance, and conferences who were unable to attend. Adam Presley ended the service with a moving benediction. Emmanuel College provided a delicious lunch for the conference leadership and other special guests. If you haven’t given yet, you may still give online.
