IPHC Discipleship Ministries Launches FREE Worship Resource

September 8, 2021 Kaleigh Hamilton

Discipleship Ministries is excited to announce the launch of their newest resource, "First Things: The Priority of Worship". This is a free study created for worship leaders and teams to use in personal devotional time, small group settings, or as a brief devotional with your team before rehearsals.

"...we all share the common experience of having started this life as infants. Though we may not remember it, we all started out desperately needing at least (3) things: nourishment, care, and rest.

The same is true in our spiritual lives. From the moment we are born again we need the nourishment of the truth of God’s Word, the care of the Presence of the Holy Spirit, and the rest that only comes with an unshakeable understanding of Who God Is and how He works in us and through us. Sadly, as time goes by we can find ourselves lacking in these very basic spiritual necessities.

For those of us in ministry, we can sometimes be so busy carrying out our ministry responsibilities we do not realize our own spiritual fuel tanks are running on empty. In those times it can be refreshing to simply get back to those first things."

-Wes Tuttle: First Things editor and IPHC Worship Consultant.
