After six years of marriage, Khader and his wife were unable to have the children they believed the Lord had promised them. Doctors had said that “there is some impossibility in that situation.” As this young family began to cry out to God, Khader felt impressed that he should begin to “confirm things to be happen and it will be happen indeed.”
Khader and his wife held on to the promise the Lord had given them and “after a while, we discovered we have babies. Actually, it was three.”
Upon delivery, the triplets appeared to be healthy, however this young family faced additional challenges when the oldest child, Johanna, began to have severe epileptic seizures. After visiting several hospitals and doctors, Khader received word that the doctors had done everything they could, “We advise that he go back to home. Maybe he will die.”
When they returned home, Khader and his family sought the Lord once again. They were directed to Deuteronomy 33:12 and began to pray over Johanna every 10 minutes and declare that he was the “beloved of the Lord.”
This family’s life was changed as they began to stand on the promises of the Lord. As Khader describes, “Suddenly the child changed. It was a real miracle.”
