For the past three years, the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) has joined with March for Life in taking a stand for the sanctity of human life in Washington, D.C. Traditionally held on January 22, the anniversary of Roe V. Wade, this year the march will be held Friday, January 27 due to the U.S. Presidential Inauguration. This year’s theme is The Power of One.
Through ministries such as Falcon Children’s Home and Royal Home Ministries, the IPHC is able to provide young ladies an alternative to abortion. The March for Life also gives us the opportunity to join other groups and denominations in taking a public stand for the right of the unborn.
There are several ways you can join the IPHC in supporting life:
- Participate in Sanctity of Human Life Sunday on January 22, 2017. More information about this special emphasis can be found in this article from Discipleship Ministries.
- Connect with General Superintendent Dr. Doug Beacham, Discipleship Ministries, Mission:M25, Falcon Children´s Home and other IPHC churches at the March for Life in Washington, D.C. The delegation will gather at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 27, at the Best Western Pentagon Hotel, 2480 S. Glebe Road, Arlington, Virginia, for a time of prayer and worship before traveling to the National Mall to join thousands of others in the March for Life.
If you are not able to come to Washington, D.C., you can organize or join a local march in your area. For more information, please visit March for Life.
- Join Mission:M25 in a motorcycle ride from Royal Home Ministries in Falcon, North Carolina, to Washington, D.C. Riders will depart from the Royal Home on January 26 at 9:30 a.m. For more information, please contact Gary Burd.
- Register to sponsor the 50 for Life banner that the IPHC delegation will carry as they march in Washington, DC. For a donation of $50 your name or ministry can be added to this banner; all proceeds go to Royal Home Ministries.
Most importantly, we encourage you to pray for the unborn, their mothers and ministries that are providing an alternative to abortion. We pray for strength, grace, and protection for those who will be participating in this peaceful march in January.
