IPHC General Superintendent Doug Beacham has declared January 15-19, 2018, as a time of global prayer and fasting. This year, our church family will emphasize prayer for the nations and for our 2018 core value, We Prayerfully Value All Generations.
On Tuesday-Friday of this week, the WIN prayer ministry invites you to join the global IPHC family in a focused time of prayer at 1 PM CST on Facebook Live. During this time, specific prayer will be led by leaders from each continent. “Our honor and pleasure is to unite as a denomination in prayer and fasting during these days,” says WIN Director Dr. Lou Shirey, “I am guided constantly by this simple phrase, ‘Let’s pray, trust God, and see what He will do.’”
Wednesday, January 17, will serve as the IPHC Global Day of Prayer. Please set aside time on this day to pray for our church, nations, and communities, and join Presiding Bishop Doug Beacham and Dr. Lou Shirey as they lead the Facebook Live prayer time from the Global Ministries Center in Oklahoma City. Following this time of online prayer, the Global Ministries Center will hold a prayer service beginning at 2:30 PM in Oklahoma City.
The IPHC is also joining with America Pray and believers from multiple denominations for a Virtual Prayer Meeting January 7-28, 2018, at 8 PM CST. Each night, listeners can call (712) 770-4173 (Access Code: 1234), or watch on America Pray’s Facebook Page to join in the prayer. On the IPHC Global Day of Prayer, Wednesday, January 17, the Virtual Prayer Meeting will be hosted by Presiding Bishop Doug Beacham and Dr. Lou Shirey. We look forward to joining with the IPHC family for this time of focused prayer.
