Let Faith Arise
“And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias,
for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son,
and you shall call his name John.” - Luke 1:12-13
When Zacharias was faced with fear, the angel reminded him that he and Elizabeth had been praying for a miracle. Their prayer was answered because of their faith. God invited Zacharias and Elizabeth to enter into the same type of promise as Abraham and Sarah because it was going to usher in something new.
During this Advent season, “Let faith arise. Let us persevere in our prayers and believe that God will fulfill His word, his promises, because He is righteous.”
