Recommended Resource: Fervent: A Women’s Battle Plan for Serious, Specific, and Strategic Prayer

July 23, 2019

Have you ever thought about needing a strategic plan for prayer? Do you catch yourself struggling to be intentional about prayer?

Having a healthy prayer life is not something that happens passively; we must be specific in our approach to prayer. If we don't live in awareness of our need to pray, we don't prioritize it. We can easily forget to implement prayer into our daily lives. Women often find themselves multitasking or involved in many things at once which makes it challenging to carve out time for prayer. The enemy is always at work, and when we fail to utilize the power of prayer, we are at a disadvantage.

In this book, Priscilla Shirer outlines why we need a specific plan, what the plan should look like, and how to implement the plan. There is an enemy that wants to destroy us, but Shirer says this about her book: "Each chapter will guide you in crafting prayer strategies that hit the enemy where it hurts, letting him know you’re on to him and that you won’t back down. Because with every new strategy you build, you’re turning the fiercest battles of life into precise strikes against him and his handiwork, each one infused with the power of God’s Spirit.”
