What good things do you want for your children? Friends, safety, self-confidence, happiness? How do we know if what we want is the same as what God wants? And more specifically, when we pray, how do we know if we're praying God's will for them? 1 John 5:14 says, “And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” I think we can all agree that we'd like to pray confidently for our children, believing God will answer.
This prayer guide is intended to help us do just that. You'll notice that all prayers in this guide have been taken from Scripture and relate back to a major theme for each book. It is our belief that we CAN pray confidently when our prayers are rooted in God's Truth. We hope these words will be an encouragement to you that God does want very good things for your children - eternally significant things - and that this is evident from Genesis to Revelation.
