Men’s Ministries and Boys’ Ministries would like to extend to you a cordial invitation to join us for the Bridging Our Ministries Discipleship Conference for Leaders of Men and Boys Friday – Sunday, January 17 – 19, 2020, at the campus of Northwood Temple in Fayetteville, NC. Pastor John Hedgepeth and his team are excited to host us for this important conference.
If you are a conference director of Boys’ or Men’s Ministries plan to arrive by noon on Friday, so that you may participate in the training tracks we have prepared for you as leaders on Friday afternoon. These breakout sessions allow Director W.A. Mills and Commander David Moore to share their hearts and cast vision for Men's Ministries and Boys’ Ministries, respectively.
Greg Terry will be leading worship. Elder Statesman and Host Pastor, John Hedgepeth, is preaching Friday night. Carol Moore will be meeting with the women on Saturday morning. The men’s plenary sessions will focus on The Journey, a new resource developed by Discipleship Ministries. Bishop Tommy McGhee, Executive Director of Discipleship Ministries, will speak to us about Planning Your Lifetime Journey. Rev. Jonathan Bland, Discipleship Ministries Content/Marketing Specialist, will share a practical guide for supporting The Journey, providing each attendee with a hands-on application and demonstration of this dynamic resource that can facilitate one’s personal devotional life, one-on-one discipleship initiatives and small group discipleship opportunities. Saturday afternoon will offer additional breakout sessions for boys' and men's ministries, respectively. Saturday evening will culminate with the annual Conference Directors’ Banquet and Awards Presentation.
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott located across the highway from Northwood Temple will serve as our conference hotel. Rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis. When making reservations, please ask for the Northwood Temple rate. You can register online for the conference by going to the Bridging Our Ministries webpage at this link. A schedule and brochure are available now.
We are committed to a partnership of serving one another in the ministry to boys and men. Together we are making a difference. We look forward to seeing you at Bridging Our Ministries XIV January 17 – 19, 2020, in Fayetteville, NC.
