Discipleship Ministries is pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Haug as Disaster Relief USA (DRUSA) Coordinator.
"We want to welcome Rick to the Discipleship Ministries team," says Bishop Tommy McGhee, Executive Director of DM. "Rick follows the leadership of Bill Terry, and we honor him for his years of service as we look forward to the continued success of Disaster Relief USA."
In a statement given to Discipleship Ministries, Bill Terry stated, "For 16 years I was honored to direct the Disaster Relief USA Ministry for the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. Of all the roles I filled over 50 years, Disaster Relief was with no doubt the most rewarding ministry where I was privileged to serve and provide passionate leadership.”
The mission of Disaster Relief USA (DRUSA) is to organize volunteer ministry teams to model the compassion of Jesus Christ by providing mass care to individuals and families devastated during times of disaster.
“I am confident that Rick Haug is the right leader to serve as the National Disaster Relief Director for IPHC Ministries," continued Bill Terry. "His passion and leadership will lead DRUSA to a new level of compassionate ministry for relief and recovery opportunities.” "Rick has already proven his passion for this ministry through his work during the Mayfield, KY disaster," added Bishop McGhee.
