Cry Out to the Lord

May 12, 2016

On January 6–7, 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia, key leaders representing more than 120,000 United States churches and leading national ministries gathered for one purpose:  to Cry Out to the Lord for revival in the church and spiritual awakening in the nation. A number of IPHC leaders and pastors attended this gathering. The “event” was used by the Holy Spirit to catalyze a “process” of supportive unity across the Kingdom as manmade barriers have been crossed, relationships are being reconciled, and contagious prayer becomes commonplace. Major prayer gatherings are occurring throughout 2016—Azusa NOW, United Cry DC16, National Day of Prayer, Call2Fall, RESET Together 2016 and Cry Out America.

Imagine…thousands of churches hosting their own Cry Out to the Lord prayer gathering in 2016!

We have an opportunity to involve millions of Jesus followers in humble repentance, bold intercession and faithful engagement in prayer-care-share lifestyles, fulfilling the Great Commission in our generation.

While churches will be scheduling their own Cry Out to the Lord gatherings throughout 2016, two key Sundays are being broadly promoted—Pentecost Sunday May 15, 2016 and Cry Out America or Patriot Day September 11, 2016.

Major denominations, Empowered21, PCCNA, and thousands of churches will have focused Sunday morning prayer gatherings on Pentecost Sunday.

Other denominations, the Awakening America Alliance, Cry Out America, and thousands of churches will have focused Sunday morning prayer gatherings on September 11, 2016.

At Preach2Engage.com you’ll find a complete collection of free resources to support these Cry Out to the Lord gatherings:

  • Pastor’s Program Guide
  • Participants’ Guide (English and Spanish)
  • Posters, Supportive Videos, etc.

Further information can be found at http://awakeningamerica.us/.

During this year of emphasizing our core value of holiness, IPHC churches have the opportunity to join with many other church groups, crying out to the Lord for His mercy.
