Bishop Gordon Atwell, conference superintendent of Passion Connection (former Mid-South Conference), reports that Christian City Church in Denham Springs, Louisiana suffered severe flood damage due to several feet of water in the facility. As you can see from the pictures, work is underway to clean up and restore the church to its original condition.

IMPACT CHURCH FUNCTIONING AS DISTRIBUTION CENTER
Bishop Gordon Atwell serves as conference superintendent for the Passion Connection Conference as well as senior pastor for Impact Church in Denham Springs, Louisiana. According to Atwell, thankfully, the church did not suffer any damage from the flooding. The church is being utilized for relief purposes, both as a distribution center for supplies as well as temporary housing. Through this morning, the church had housed 166 people and provided food for many displaced individuals.
