The 69th annual Feast of Ingathering for Emmanuel College took place on Friday, October 7th, on the campus in Franklin Springs, GA.
Many IPHC leaders were present throughout the event, including: IPHC Women’s Ministries officials, IPHC directors, the Board of Trustees, and many EC alumni and their families. President Ron White opened the Feast by warmly and enthusiastically welcoming all guests and students to the campus for the historic ceremony. He then yielded the stage to a worship service that was jointly conducted by the EC Singers, Revive Dance Team, and numerous international students who participated in a flag ceremony representing their nations of origin. Afterward, several students shared heartfelt stories describing what Emmanuel College means to them, and then expressed how deeply appreciative they were for the monetary donations given by Women’s Ministries and the IPHC.
In all, the EC Feast of Ingathering joyfully boasted more than $61,000 in donations raised to benefit students and future projects of Emmanuel College. President White conveyed his gratitude to the Women’s Ministries for their continued support. “The consistent giving by Women’s Ministries of the IPHC has enabled the College to serve its students better over the 69 years since the inception of the Feast of Ingathering,” he said. “These funds have been used for various purposes over the years, including; scholarships, academic resources, and physical plans, to name a few. We are delighted to host this event and look forward to our collaboration for years to come.”
